Airstream, the company behind some of the most iconic and instantly recognisable trailers in the world, has unveiled brand new eye-catching, bright and modern interiors for two of its models.

The company unveiled new versions of The Flying Cloud (described by Airstream as the brand’s most popular, versatile and family-friendly travel trailer they produce) and the International, which boasts 12 different floor plans. Set to launch for 2021, the designs are modern with luxury touches that will suit travellers eager to hit the road in comfort. The Flying Cloud will offer Sunlit Maple decor, as well as updated fabrics (bedding, pillows and curtains), new countertops, flooring and fixtures. It will include updated overhead storage cabinet designs in a cream coloured, glossy reflective surface versus wood grain featured in previous models, while blackout curtains have been replaced with all roller blinds. There is an upgraded square sink design that replaces the circular one, and a handcrafted aluminium rear hatch with a screen that is optional on certain models.

The International has a refreshed “Coastal Cove” decor, as the previous generations of interiors and model names are cycled out. Previously the International was separated by design profiles with two different names – International Serenity and International Signature. Now the model will just be known as International and will offer Coastal Cove with Seashell (light grey fabrics) and Coastal Cove with Aqua (light blue options). The remodel includes new designs for bedding, pillows and curtains, as well as updated vinyl flooring, interior laminates, countertop designs, cabinets and drawer pull handles.

“The Airstream International travel trailer has taken on several shapes and has earned its place in RV history as the first-ever self-contained travel trailer. Since that pivotal moment in 1958, the International has done more than free itself from the constraints of campground hookups - it has also continuously evolved as the needs and desires of travellers have changed,” Airstream said.

Earlier this year the company unveiled the Comfort White add-on to the iconic silver bullet trailers. More information is available at the official Airstream website.
