Römer Museum

This small expanse of Roman ruins housed below Hoher Markt dates from the 1st to 5th century CE. Considered Vienna’s best-preserved excavated ruins, they are thought to be part of the officers’ quarters of the Roman legion camp at Vindobona. You can see crumbled walls, tiled floors and a small exhibition of some 150,000 artifacts, along with a 3D film with English subtitles.
