Lake Danao

Palawan

South of town lies Lake Danao (Manguao), the largest freshwater lake in Palawan. There are some trails for walking or mountain biking, and wildlife, including monkeys, monitor lizards and rare birds, abounds.

The turn-off to the lake is on the National Hwy 9km south of Taytay; it's a 10-minute drive from the turn-off.
