About James
I'm an Australian who began expat life in London in 1999. While I was there I discovered that I like travel and making websites. I merged the two interests in 2003 by becoming a digital nomad, and in 2009 I began my travel blog at Nomadic Notes.
I'm currently focused on Southeast Asia, where I write about transport and urban development issues for my site, Future Southeast Asia. I dream of seeing an integrated railway network in Southeast Asia like in Europe. When I'm not travelling, I split my time between Ho Chi Minh City and Chiang Mai.
