This purpose-built gallery exhibits the work of influential Bauhaus artist Lyonel Feininger (1871–1956), who was born in New York and came to Germany at the age of 16, later fleeing the Nazis and returning to the US in 1937. The original graphics, drawings, watercolours and sketches on display are from the period 1906 to 1936.
