Parador de Baiona

This privileged parador, inside Monte Boi's fortress enclosure, was built in 1967 – in medieval-castle style with big stone blocks and wood-beamed ceilings. Suits of armour stand in the lobby and there's lots of historical art, while the best rooms boast canopied beds and wonderful views.
