Owned and managed by a local Adnyamathanha business group, this far-flung resort has lost considerable sheen of late (maintenance standards have slipped, and restaurant offerings are now more pub-like – mains $26 to $38), but it remains an interesting place to stay, with motel-style rooms and a campground with plush safari tents (book in advance). Take a dip in the pool and have a drink at the bar.
Bike hire, scenic flights, guided walks and Aboriginal cultural experiences also available.
