Old Jewish Cemetery

Wrocław

The Old Jewish Cemetery, founded in 1856, contains more than 12,000 headstones over two hectares; some bear the scars of rearguard actions fought here by the beleaguered German Nazis towards the end of WWII. It's located about 2km south of the train and bus stations. Take tram 9 or 15.

It's a branch of the Wrocław City Museum.
