Hauberg Indian Museum

Part of Black Hawk State Historic Site, the museum outlines the story of Sauk leader Black Hawk and his people, and how they lived in the area prior to the five-month Black Hawk War (a bloody conflict between local Native Americans and settlers) in 1832. Exhibits include replica houses and a dugout canoe.
