Maritime National Historical Park

Five historic ships are floating museums at Fisherman's Wharf’s most enduring attraction. Moored along Hyde St Pier, the three-star attractions are the 1891 schooner Alma, which hosts guided sailing trips in summer; 1890 steamboat Eureka; and iron-hulled 1886 Balclutha, which brought coal to San Francisco. It’s free to walk the pier; pay only to board ships. The park includes the 1939 Aquatic Park Bathhouse (10am to 4pm), featuring Maritime Museum exhibits and fabulous art-deco friezes by African American sculptor Sargent Johnson.
